The current library building at 210 Washington Street will be closed for renovation starting  FRIDAY, July 3rd  (we're closed for the Holiday that day).  Library staff along with the help from many City of Northfield departments will move our interim library to city hall the week of July 6 through July 10th. We will open the interim library on  MONDAY, July 13th  on the second floor of city hall 801 Washington Street.  Phone numbers and email contacts will remain the same.  The 1910/1985 Library building will be under construction until early 2016.  We are excited for these new changes and the challenge of working in limited space!  Please feel free to interlibrary loan any items you want, the pick up point will be at the city hall library.  There will be nothing due the week we are closed for the move.  Booker, the Book Bus and the summer reading program will continue at the parks during this time. 

Booker is loaded with library materials for people of all ages.  Our schedule is: Mondays 9:30-4:30 Central Park Tuesdays 9:30-4:30 Way Park Wednesdays 9:30-4:30 Washington/City Hall Park Thursday mornings at Greenvale Park School 9:30-noon Thursday afternoons at the YMCA 1 -4:30 Evening happenings: Tuesdays in the Park alternating Tuesdays at Dresden Hill Park and Taylor Park along Jefferson Parkway. 6:30-8 Socialize with neighbors and friends, visit with Booker and partake in simple and healthy cooking demonstrations, games for kids, snacks and more. Library Move Update! The last day the library at 210 Washington Street will be open to the public will be Thursday, July 2 nd . Library services will be unavailable from July 3 to July 12, while we prepare to move to our temporary location at City Hall. We will open at City Hall, 801 Washington Street on Monday July 13.  Library Hours will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9 AM - 6 PM Tuesdays  9 AM - 8 PM Saturdays 9 AM - 5 PM Sundays    Closed
